The day I sold my Olympus E-300

Today, 12th June 2008, is the day that I parted with my first DSLR. I bought the Olympus E-300 way back in January 2005. And to be exact, it was 15th January 2005.
The main reason was to get a nice camera for the company trip to Bali. Photos of my Bali trip can be viewed on the following link.

Though it was not my first digital camera, there was really a lot of sentimental values. Over the years, it had accompanied me to many places and made a lot of friends. This is the camera that made me learn a lot about photography, and at the same time, generated a substantial ROI. As of today, my Shutterstocks all time total earning is at US$2618.52.

I sold it to a nice Malay gentleman at RM650, who came all the way to Subang area to make the COD.
And just look at the depreciation, I bought it at RM3.5K with the kit lens back then.
Anyway it has been a great and fantastic camera.

The photo below shows the Olympus E-300 with the OM 4/3 Adapter connecting to a OM 50mm f/1.8 MC lens. Attached to the end of the lens, is the DIY reverse ring and a Olympus back lens cap as the lens cover.

TUDM Golden Jubilee

On 1st June 2008, my wife accompanied me to the RMAF air base in Subang for the TUDM Open Day as part of the Golden Jubilee celebration. The RMAF air base is opened for the public and there were various planes and helicopters on display. Below are some of the photos that I had taken; these are HDR (High Definition Range) processed photos.
